A gentle yet effective therapy focused on stimulating lymphatic circulation, reducing swelling, and promoting relaxation. Ideal for clients seeking light detox, immune support, or early-stage post-op recovery.
Modalities
Combining Vodder Lymphatic Drainage, Celluma Light Therapy, EMS Therapy, Contrast Therapy, and Lymphatic Taping to gently stimulate the lymphatic system, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote tissue repair. This integrative approach supports faster post-operative recovery, reduces fluid retention, and enhances overall wellness and body function.
Body Assessment
A body assessment is a crucial first step that allows us to identify signs of fluid retention, inflammation, poor circulation, or tissue tension. By evaluating these factors, we can tailor each session—whether for post-operative care, prenatal support, or general wellness—to your body's specific needs, ensuring treatments are both safe and effective.
Vodder Lymphatic Drainage
A gentle, rhythmic manual technique developed by Dr. Emil Vodder. This method uses light, circular movements to stimulate lymphatic flow, reduce swelling, and promote detoxification through the body’s natural drainage pathways.
Benefits:
Stimulates lymph flow, reduces edema and puffiness, supports immune function, improves post-surgical healing, and enhances overall relaxation and detoxification.
Ideal For:
Clients recovering from cosmetic or medical surgery, managing lymphedema or fluid retention, experiencing swelling or sluggish circulation, or seeking a gentle, restorative wellness treatment.
Contraindications:
Vodder lymphatic drainage is contraindicated for individuals with acute infections, untreated cancer, thrombosis, severe heart or kidney conditions, and should be used cautiously during pregnancy or after recent surgery without prior medical clearance.
Celluma Light Therapy
FDA-registered class II device. Celluma light therapy panel using blue, red, and near-infrared wavelengths. Celluma light therapy targets skin, muscle, and joint tissues to reduce inflammation, accelerate healing, and promote cellular regeneration.
Benefits:
Improves skin clarity and texture, reduces inflammation and acne, relieves muscle and joint pain, enhances circulation, and supports tissue recovery post-surgery or injury.
Ideal For:
Clients recovering from cosmetic or medical procedures, those with inflammatory skin conditions or muscle discomfort, and individuals seeking non-invasive support for healing, rejuvenation, and overall wellness.
Contraindications:
Celluma light therapy is not recommended for individuals with epilepsy, active cancer, pregnancy (unless cleared by a physician), or those taking photosensitive medications, and should not be used over the thyroid gland or suspicious lesions.
EMS Therapy
A non-invasive treatment that uses electrical impulses to stimulate muscle contractions, enhancing muscle strength, tone, and endurance. EMS supports rehabilitation, body sculpting, and improved circulation.
Benefits:
Improves muscle strength and firmness, enhances blood flow, aids in muscle recovery, reduces muscle atrophy, and supports body contouring.
Ideal For:
Individuals seeking muscle toning, rehabilitation after injury, enhanced athletic performance, or non-invasive body shaping.
Contraindications:
EMS therapy is not recommended for individuals with pacemakers or implanted electronic devices, pregnancy (unless cleared by a physician), epilepsy, active infections, or open wounds in the treatment area.
Contrast Therapy
A therapeutic technique alternating between hot and cold applications to stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation, and promote healing. Commonly used for recovery, detoxification, and improving vascular function.
Benefits:
Enhances blood flow and lymphatic drainage, reduces muscle soreness and swelling, accelerates tissue repair, and boosts metabolic waste removal.
Ideal For:
Clients recovering from injury or surgery, experiencing muscle fatigue or swelling, seeking enhanced circulation, or supporting detox and wellness routines.
Contraindications:
Contrast therapy is contraindicated for individuals with severe cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled hypertension, sensory impairments, open wounds, or acute infections, and should be used cautiously during pregnancy.
Lymphatic Taping
A therapeutic technique using elastic kinesiology tape applied in specific patterns to gently lift the skin and support lymphatic circulation. This method helps direct lymph fluid toward functional drainage pathways, reducing localized swelling and promoting tissue healing without restricting movement.
Benefits:
Encourages lymph flow, reduces post-operative swelling and bruising, supports tissue recovery, improves circulation, and provides gentle structural support without compression.
Ideal For:
Clients recovering from cosmetic or medical surgery (such as liposuction or BBL), those with localized edema, minor soft tissue injuries, or individuals seeking non-invasive lymphatic support between massage sessions.
Contraindications:
Not recommended for clients with tape allergies, open wounds, skin infections, active rashes, deep vein thrombosis, or untreated cancer. Caution should be used on fragile or sensitive skin. Always consult a healthcare provider before use, especially post-surgery.

How MLD works
This is video from annualreviews.org. You can see the lymph fluid (white color) moving through the lymphatic vessels of the ankle as MLD is performed.
